Where Are Your Stand Up Pouches Made?

We have three factories – while one is in the U.S., two are located overseas. The U.S. factory deals with excellent barrier films. These films are made by laminating together multiple layers and can be used to package a number of items like tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, cereals, juices, and dry mixes etc.

In the U.S. based plant, we can run a process in about 2-3 weeks (and sometimes even faster!) And this time frame includes the addition of extra features like zip locks and tear notches. However, the U.S. based plant can only print flexographic. This means that we cannot print more than 2-3 colors on your stand up pouch, and the print would not come in high photographic quality.

We rely on our U.S. based plant for unprinted and custom sized standup pouches, flat bags, vacuum barrier bags, and beef jerky bags etc. There is one problem with pouches made in the country. The minimum run for U.S. made pouches is 30,000 bags (and even 50,000 in some cases). Since many of our clients are small company owners, we needed an alternative – hence the overseas plants.

With our overseas plants, you can order as few as 5,000 pouches. We have two Asian factories- one is the primary and the other one is a backup. We have our own staff at these factories to undertake the projects. If you want to visit the overseas factory, you are always welcome. And if you can’t visit, we can make a video of your flexible pouches being made and shipped, and send it to you.
