Finding reputable suppliers from overseas has always been an issue, not that that means they are all bad or all good (just like in the US) but it does mean you should do your homework and find suppliers who are more than willing to share their quality, their quality procedures, even their quality documents. Now, with the Coronavirus and COVID 19, we have way more on the line than just a poor side seal or a bad color match.
My point, lives are at risk, and these strange times have everyone scrambling. Too often companies use crisis as an opportunity to cut corners and look the other way and this is "fools gold" and lives are way too important than an extra dollar. Demand your supplier provide their Quality Certification...not just a copy of a copy of a copy but the actual number back to the certifying agency...this can be done. If not you run the risk way beyond a rejected order.
