Stand Up Pouches for Product Packaging

Packaging Liquids With Stand Up Pouch With Spout

Packaging liquid products has historically been pretty straightforward. Depending on the nature of the product, a bottle, can, carton or plastic jug usually did the trick. However, as is often the case, technological advances in manufacturing processes and new discoveries in packaging materials resulted in new, often more effective forms of packaging, packaging such as stand up pouches. In fact, a stand up pouch with spout provides superior protection, preserves product shelf life, and offers your customers incredible convenience. Oh, and it's also environmentally friendly (recyclable!).

A stand up pouch with spout is made by laminating together multiple layers of scientifically-formulated (if necessary, food-grade) film. The barrier bag this process builds is strong, stable, durable and puncture-resistant, yet flexible enough to fit in almost any space that can accommodate the volume. Each pouch protects its contents from vapor, odor, moisture, pests, air, and/or light, depending on the properties of the product. For food and other perishable liquids, a stand up pouch with spout will seal in product freshness, thereby extending it's "best by" date. The pour spout, when combined with a resealable cap, will further protect and preserve your liquid product line.

Stand up pouches do, as the name suggests, stand up on the shelf. This permits for convenient storage in the garage, a hall closet, the kitchen, bathroom, a garden shed or even the trunk of a car.

In standing up on the shelf, products packaged in these pouches will stand apart from those sold in other containers. Round and sombrero-shaped hang holes provide grocers, auto supply stores, and other retailers another option for displaying your brand's product line.

The design and structure of a stand up pouch with spout also provides you options fordisplaying your brand. The pouch has a wide front and back panel, both of which can accommodate your product labels (or other stickers) or custom printing in up to 10 colors. Clear and/or translucent film can be integrated into the pouch barrier construction. You also have the option of combining all of these features.
