Liquid Packaging Options - Spout Packaging

Spouted pouches or liquid stand up pouches are one of the most preferred ways of liquid packaging.

There is a whole new variety of different styles of spouted pouches available in the market today. In spout packaging, there are two main things to be considered. First is the position of the spout - whether it is to be placed at the center or at the corner of the pouch. The second important consideration is regarding the method of filling the pouch. While some spout pouches for liquid packaging have a void through which it is filled, most spout pouches are filled directly through the spout. Another option is to fill in the liquid product before a spout is placed in position.

There is another style of spouted pouches that has emerged in market in the recent years, which is being used mainly for soap packaging. This liquid pouch, although a spouted pouch, has no spout and is a single use item. The pouch is filled from top and sealed. To use it, it is nipped from a corner. The advantage of this style is that it cuts the costs of spout pouch production and reduces the fuss in handling them.
