Everyone Loves Bacon in Stand Up Pouches -- Except Pigs

Phoney Baloney's Pet PigKyle and Andrea, founders of Phoney Baloney’s, giggle and squeal at the sight of pigs the way most people react to puppies and human babies.  Did you know that pigs are known to dream, recognize their own names, and even learn tricks?  In fact, this past September Kyle and Andrea adopted their very first pig, Alicia.  What does this have to do with Phoney Baloney’s and just as important, what does this have to do with printed stand up pouches?  More than you think.

Phoney Baloney’s is the world’s first manufacturer of vegan and gluten free coconut bacon. That’s right, crispy, smoky, and salty pieces that are delicious by themselves right out of the stand up bag or as part of any number of amazing creations such as baked maple bacon donuts, rosemary sweet potato fries, or even bacon gravy…yum!  Everyone loves bacon and now everyone can enjoy it, including those living a vegan lifestyle.  In fact, The Original Coconut Bacon has been nominated for a 2013 Libby Award as the best vegan meat!

At StandUpPouches.net not only do we love the passion and commitment of clients like Kylephoney baloney's and Andrea in creating such an awesome product, we were amazed at their determination to not cut any corners with their packaging.  The film structure needed to protect the product from moisture and lock in the aroma and freshness while the graphic design provided just the right amount of color and a crystal clear window to showcase the coconut bacon in all its glory!  Stand up pouches are made from scientifically engineered barrier films laminated together which creates the barrier properties while providing the stability for the pouch to stand erect on a store shelf.  What makes printed stand bags even more unique is one of these layers is actually the printed layer trapped or sandwiched so it cannot be scratched or marred in any way.

The Original Coconut Bacon can be found online and at retailers throughout the US and Canada.  As for their adopted pig Alicia, she lives in Farm Sanctuary’s Southern California Shelter and has a best friend named Sophie.  Andrea and Kyle look forward to meeting Alicia and adopting more pigs in the future.
