We have exciting news to share today. Stand Up Pouches is entering the radio realm. Introducing our new radio show: Ditch The Box.

The goal of this radio show is to create a platform in which industry leaders can create a dialogue revolving around the good and the bad of flexible retail packaging. The hope is that by starting an open dialogue, people will come to a better understanding of flexible retail packaging, what it has to offer, and its place in the packaging industry today.

The use of flexible retail packaging continues to expand globally and in North America (US, Canada, Mexico) especially. Flexible retail packaging includes printed and plain stand up pouches, spouted stand up bags for liquids, and even flat barrier bags used for items such as beef jerky, cookies, and spices. There is so much more to this industry than anyone realizes, from matching colors to available materials, and we hope to help companies large and small understand it a little better. The conversations are going to be beneficial to a myriad of people, from consumers to manufacturers. Thought leaders in the industry will be invited to guest appear on our show with the host David Marinac, the CEO of Stand Up Pouches. Discussion topics will include everything from flat barrier bags for beef jerky to barrier layers with potential to withstand oil and grease, and everything in between. The food and beverage industry will be a hot topic of conversation, as well as tips and tricks on how to get your product in front of the right people, negotiate deals with the big boys, and of course - save money. The objective of Ditch The Box is ultimately geared towards providing insight on where the industry is going, while simultaneously helping clients package their product properly.
