Great article in today's Food Navigator about BluePrint Cleanse being purchased by Hain Celestial.  BluePrint makes fresh juice and markets them obviously for the health benefit.  I'm in agreement 100%, fresh juice is amazing for you and I hope their joining forces benefits both companies in a huge way.  Here is where they need help and spouted stand up bags come into play.  One look at their website and you'll see that rigid plastic bottles are their packaging of choice.  Really, a company that produces products so good for us, neglects the environment?  There is a saying in the packaging industry of the 3 Rs, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.  Without question, the best way to help our environment is to reduce the amount of plastic that is used in packaging.  These rigid containers that BluePrint uses can be replaced easily with spouted stand up bags at a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the thickness of what they are currently using.

Spouted stand up pouches not only will reduce the amount of packaging but can you imagine the space savings BluePrint will have?  1000 empty rigid bottles don't collapse...how much room would that take up in a warehouse?  10,000 rigid bottles would fill a warehouse when 10000 spouted stand up pouches would fit on less, that is correct, less than a pallet.

Stand up pouches, whether with a spout or not, are made from heavy duty barrier film laminated together that create the strength for the pouch to stand effectively while creating protective properties that keep the contents fresher for longer and keep out moisture, vapor, other odors, etc.  

Even better, the wide face and back of a spouted stand up bag provide considerable room for BluePrint to tell their company story, why their juice is so great and good for you as well.  They certainly will have more room for custom printing and building their brand than a stick on label like the currently have.
