# The Advantages and Disadvantages of Clear Standup Bags

Clear [stand up pouch bags](http://blog.standuppouches.net/) have transparent bodies and you can see through them. They have their own set of advantages and limitations. Let’s take a look at them.

**Advantages**:

**Limitations**:

1.    If you are planning to sell a product that is sensitive to light, you should get an opaque pouch. With see-through body, the light will enter the pouch and can react with the contents stored inside.  
2.    With a completely transparent body, you will not get much space to print the branding or product information. So your marketing chances will diminish.
