As the diagram below shows, we measure Stand Up Pouches by the outside dimensions. The width being the opening and the height/length (measured top to bottom). The bottom gusset can be a little confusing…we try to tell our clients to open the pouch and measure (again…outside dimensions) the pouch at its widest point.
NOTE: This is not always an exact dimension…but one that will get you close enough to get started.
NOTE: From there we can send samples to help you dial in your bottom gusset and just as important confirm all of the dimensions (width, length, bottom gusset). OR…we can send samples at the beginning of your project so you can fill it with your product to help you determine the size or sizes that work best for your product.
