Keeping it simple, the flat barrier bag is sealed on 3 sides. The width is the opening and the length is the height or length of the flat bag.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when dealing with flat bags:
- Measure the outside dimension
- Decide the features (if any, such as ziplock, hang hole, vent hole, etc)
- Decide where you want to “fill” your product from (do you want to open the ziplock and fill through there OR do you want to have the top completely sealed and you fill from the bottom and seal)?
