Dog Treat Pouch Awesomeness: Salmon Paws Case Study

Whodog treat pouch They Are:

Salmon Paws produces premium pet treats using only human-grade wild salmon caught in the pristine waters of Alaska. Their product is 100% pure salmon meat with no bones, fillers, or yeast.  Only the finest salmon is used, and these good folks hand-make and bake their salmon jerky dog (and cat!) treats.

How Stand Up Pouches Worked With Salmon Paws

Salmon Paws, like many of our clients, wanted their products to be “seen” on a store shelf, but they didn’t necessarily want a huge round circle or some big square to serve as the “window” through which customers could see the treat. Their packaging design team came up with a clever paw print for their customized food packaging. They then turned to us to make their dream dog treat pouch into a reality and also to develop the right barrier film combinations that would protect their product and keep it fresher for longer.

Pet food, pet treats, and fish products such as these tend to have an oil residue on them, and oil can cause havoc on some films. Fortunately, we were prepared with perfect customized food packaging. Using the right combination of film, we created pouches that provided not only the necessary strength, but also sufficient clarity so that the product could be seen by the customers. At the same time, the product is still being protected from moisture, vapor, odor, and other possible problems.

Subsequently, Salmon Paws has returned to us to create more dog treat customized food packaging as their business has grown.

Just see for yourself…the proof is in the pouch.
